We spent Easter at a lovely hotel atop a hill with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the shaded courtyard was perfect for relaxing in the afternoon sun. The food was delicious and authentic, with a great selection of local dishes to choose from.
The walk up from the train station was a bit tough, especially in the warmer weather, so it would be best to have a car or arrange for a taxi. , some of the rooms could use a bit of updating and the lack of air conditioning made it a bit uncomfortable in the heat of the day.

Lovely location, friendly staff, accommodating service, tree-shaded courtyard, well-equipped rooms.
Nothing, all great.

As someone who visited this hilltop hotel in midsummer, I was pleasantly surprised by how the warm breezes were able to take the edge off of the heat, making the location absolutely lovely. The hotel facilities were clean and well-kept, and I found the tree-shaded courtyard to be a great place to hang out.
Nothing, no complaints at all.

We stayed at a hotel on top of a hill with a lovely location. It was wonderful to feel the warm breezes during the summertime. the courtyard was our favorite spot where we spent most of the time. the rooms could use some upgrades, especially the bathrooms were small and outdated. the service was accommodating and helpful, and breakfast was good. It was nice to have the basic facilities in the room, but unfortunately, there were no air conditioning or fans.
The location of the hotel is the only good thing about it.

Spent a lovely Christmas break in Tuscany. the hotel had a great location, close to the town centre and had amazing views. the staff were friendly and the rooms had everything we needed. the tree-shaded courtyard was a real highlight, it was the perfect place to unwind and relax. the food was also delicious, we enjoyed some authentic Tuscan dishes and the wine list was impressive.
The steep walk up to the hotel from the train station, especially when carrying our luggage. Taxis and buses seemed to be scarce, so renting a car might be a better option.
